“Heya Lil’ Nightmares. Thanks for listening in! Oh, what was that, BlueImpulse?”
Melinoe paused to read the questions in her chatbox.
“Will I be performing onstage? Nah, sorry, Andromeda’s not gonna have time for lil’ old me. You all know the Performers’ Council’s too busy with damage control.”
After another pause, she chuckled, reacting to chat.
“Yeah, of course I’m talking about the World Tour.”
“Can you just imagine the financial fallout from cancelling that? All because their security hasn’t been doing its job? Not to mention the fan fallout. I always thought the World Tour would be a bad idea.”
Melinoe scoffed with her avatar shaking her head.
“Besides, everyone knows all they care about are the Big Two. Yeah, Cassiopeia and Supernova?”
“They hold monopoly over the performances. They won’t give an indie VTuber like me a slot. Especially not when I’m a threat.”
Her avatar posed with a hand over its lips, in feigned shock.
“Oops! Did I say that out loud? Maybe I did, hee hee!”
“Anyway, Franklin$ is coming over here for a show soon, I hear. Yeah, the rapper! Ohoho! And guess who’s also having a show, just a few days earlier. Yeah, Perzeus. I dunno what kind of publicity stunt Andromeda’s hoping for, bringing those two together like this. Oh well, sit back and enjoy the delicious drama, right?”
Melinoe winked and blew her audience a kiss.
“Either way, I’ll still be here, haunting your dreams and driving you all mad for me. See you soon, everyone… until the next nightmare takes you.”

Opens on March 17, and will run from April 21 to June 22.
In 2041, the entertainment industry soars ever higher with the best of the best coming from Andromeda Island, now its own country. Yet behind the glitz and glamor is a seedy underbelly, where the famous and obscure alike can be ensnared in dark and criminal activity.

It’s exciting to see this world come back after a long time. It has been 6 years since the original Symphony of Stars premiered in 2019. That roleplay followed the talented and excitable students of Cassiopeia Academy, founded by Kharon Mackenzie Craig, as they navigated rival performers, a whirlwind of performance-related fires, and the entertainment industry as a whole.
Now, we’re diving back into a near-modern day setting which feels comfortingly familiar yet a nice breath of fresh air. The last roleplay with a similar setting was Sanguine Stakes (2023), which also unfolded on an island. Perhaps there is something profoundly magical about being on an island that makes it conducive in giving our characters a retreat to chase their hopes and dreams.
